Exact test: Resolve YES if the Bank of England Money and Credit release or Bankstats series LPMVTVX for December 2026 reports the seasonally adjusted monthly number of total sterling approvals for house purchase to individuals, net of cancellations, as 65,000 or higher. Resolve NO if it is below 65,000. Use the December 2026 monthly observation, not remortgage approvals or total secured lending approvals. If the Money and Credit release is delayed, wait for the first December 2026 data publication, but resolve NO if unavailable by closes_at.
Deadline: 28 February 2027 at 23:59
Revisions: Use the first published December 2026 Bank of England Money and Credit/Bankstats value. Ignore later routine revisions unless the Bank issues an explicit correction before closes_at.
Baseline: Latest checked BoE approvals and 2026 release schedule: May 2026 approvals were 56,200 and June 2026 approvals were reported around 58,200; Bankstats schedule shows December 2026 data due 1 February 2027.
